Destructoid have shared with us the box, ahem, “art” for the up and coming Playstation Move PAL release and yes, it is just as awesome as one would expect for what is essentially a plastic ball on the end of a stick. (Click here to see the image in it’s full glory.)
We also now have an entry retail price. Due to go on sale from mid-September, Amazon UK and Play.com have opened pre-orders at £38.99 and £39.99 respectively, although if you want to go all out and secure yourself the Move, Playstation Eye and demo disc bundle, you need to shell out fifty quid – unless you opt for Amazon, which – for reasons best known to itself – has kicked off retailing at £59.99.
If you’re in the US, however, you seem to fare much better with a $49.99 RRP. European cousins are looking at €39.99 so yes, it does suck to be British right now.
Aaaaand, whilst I’m already on Sony matters, a quick head’s up on the PlayStation Plus costs. Thankfully, it’s just a matter of Crtl+Ving because turns out the prices for a 12 month subscription are much the same as the figures above. Reports suggest that the upgrade will cost $49.99 in the US (€39.99 in Europe) whereas I myself would have to shell out £39.99. Well, you know, if I wanted to upgrade. Which I’m not yet sure that I do.
