Get Your FFXIV Beta Keys!

Apr 1, 2010

Ahoy, and avast and ARRR! I’m here to let you all in on a nifty promotion going on. If you’re interested in MMORPG’s, and aren’t completely up Blizzard’s ass with World of Warcraft and a looming Starcraft 2, then I have some good news for you! Or if you can multi-task – it’s still good news!

Square-Enix is offering a chance to obtaining a coveted Beta Key to play FFXIV on either the PS3 or your PC. GO HERE RIGHT NOW to put your email and name out there to receive a Beta key. It’s part of a selection process, as usual, but I’m hoping I’ll even the odds in GGS’ favor by saying “I am employed by a gaming site”. Schwing! I really hope they don’t read this!

As to be expected, the information is a bit invasive, but I’m really angry that Square-Enix completely neglected my state. I live in the United States and there was absolutely no option for Washington, D.C when they asked me where I lived. Are you serious? I had to use my family’s home address because apparently their state exists but mine’s imaginary.

Final Fantasy XIV will be released sometime later this year. Be quick to sign up for your Beta key, though. There was an announcement that FFXIV will be tested for longer than the four months that FFXI had. So I’m guessing we have five months to do this! Go team!

    • I hope I get one, too. I keep checking my email lol :( My Plan B is to ask every single gaming friend if they happen to have a spare key on them. I read that people who bought either a deluxe or regular version of FF13 also received a Beta Key, but I’m not sure about the details.

I’ve been having a problem with it ever since I got my code with FFXIII, I try to log in on the XIV application site and it doesn’t recognise my user name/password even though I can log into the Square-enix members site fine O_o
